I am excited to announce the launch of 3% Foam Solutions Consulting & Training. 3FS is a firefighter and veteran-owned, Jacksonville, Florida-based consulting & training firm with expertise in emergency response to flammable fuel fires. We provide consulting services to fire departments, public and private to assess and identify needs and capabilities based on the response area. Moreover, 3FS offers a process of transitioning from legacy foams to fluorine-free firefighting foam concentrates.

We will train your firefighters to meet any flammable fuel incidents within their response area. Our experienced instructors can provide further response training to any threat a fire-based hazardous materials team may encounter. All responses to hazardous materials have a foundation in the knowledge of chemical and physical properties, propagating a pragmatic engagement.

We offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of our clients. We specialize in strategic planning, hazard analysis, process improvement, and change management. We also provide training and education for fire departments to develop their skills and knowledge in flammable fuel response. I have been fascinated with foam and liquid flammable responses as a firefighter since my service in the military. I always thought that it was a niche that no one really took the time to understand. When I became a civilian firefighter that passion continued when I joined my fire department's hazardous materials team. As I pursued my Degree at the University of Florida, I was able to meet many firefighters and soon understood the bigger picture. Our chiefs and the public expect us to respond to all hazards and be 100% perfect on every emergency. I would say that most if not all engine companies in America carry firefighting foam. But do they understand their capabilities? That is why I'm here, to ensure we are safe and effective in our approach to liquid flammable fuels.
